Stroohm always tries to offer all its customers the latest evolutions.
Therefore, thanks to a new “over-the air” firmware update on all our Zenchargers, we are now introducing a series of innovative features designed to improve the functionality and user experience of our charge points and back office systems.

1) Current limitation

Users can now adjust the charge rate in the web interface using a slider bar.
This allows users to control and self-adjust their capacity charge.
The slider goes from a minimum set point of 6A to the installation current limit set during commissioning.
This slider can be found on the ‘Smart Charging’ tab of the web interface.

2) Charging with solar energy

The solar charging function offers three different modes: Fast Solar, Smart Solar and Pure Solar, each for different charging needs:

• Fast solar power: All generated power is used along with power from the grid to offer maximum charging speed.
• Smart solar: The power generated is used along with power from the grid, in a smart mix.
• Pure solar: Charging begins in this mode when at least 6A flows back to the grid.
  The goal is to use only solar energy for vehicle charging.

It is essential to choose the right charging strategy to ensure that vehicles are properly charged and avoid the risk of insufficient charging under adverse conditions.
