BI-DIRECTIONAL READY

The Zencharger has the hardware to inject electricity in the grid or house if the car can provide alternating current. Future software update will activate this feature. 

SOLAR CHARGING

The Zencharger can optimise charging on own produced solar energy. There are different charging modi to charge your car 100% on solar, partially or boost via the grid if sun is not sufficient.

The solar charging function offers three different modes: Fast Solar, Smart Solar and Pure Solar, each for different charging needs:
- Fast solar energy: All power generated is used, together with power from the grid, to provide the maximum charging speed.
- Smart solar energy: The generated electricity is used together with electricity from the grid, in a smart mix
- Pure solar energy: Charging starts in this mode when at least 6A flows back to the electricity grid. The goal is to use only solar energy for charging.

CAPACITY TARIFF

Via a slider, the maximum capacity from the grid can be determined. Via a special device, the consumption of your home is measured and the power towards the Zencharger adapated. 

LIFETIME SOFTWARE UPDATED

Cars obtain new software version, new features, but also you charging device must obtain new software updates, STROOHM has a lifetime free software update license with ZENCHARGER to ensure you obtain new features.

10 YEAR WARRANTY

Are you an Allianz customer? Then you are entitled to a free upgrade to a 10-year warranty. If not, you can enjoy this peace of mind for a one-time fee of EUR 350

LOAD BALANCING

Since the total available capacity of an electrical installation is limited, your charging station may take up a significant portion of it, leaving little reserve for other household appliances. To prevent the main circuit breaker from being triggered during car charging, especially when other essential appliances like the oven or washing machine are in use, you can use dynamic load balancing. A smart meter continuously measures total energy consumption and adjusts the power of your charging station based on the remaining capacity. This automatically reduces the charging power when other appliances are turned on, preventing the total available power from being exceeded and the main circuit breaker from tripping.
