Meet Martijn, our Innovation & Project Manager!

Martijn’s journey started with a Master in Industrial Engineering.

“During my studies I got to know Tesla, and electric cars. I delved into it and booked a test drive with a friend at Tesla with a Tesla Model S. I immediately thought ‘Holy, this is cool!'”.
This moment ignited his passion and made the master choice “Intelligent Mobility” an obvious choice.
After his master in industrial engineering, Martijn obtained a master-after-master in Business Process Management to be fully prepared for the future.

Martijn started his career at Fier Automotive in the Netherlands.
Although the distance was a challenge, he learned a crucial lesson there: “Taking ownership is essential. It is easy to attribute things to external factors, but by taking responsibility, you learn to anticipate and make decisions.”

What attracted Martijn to this position?
“I think it’s great that we come up with innovative solutions, and that we can also implement them for customers because we also do installations ourselves. We are not dependent on subcontractors and we have the technicians in-house. We are fully responsible for the quality we deliver. Again, taking ownership is essential.”

His first impressions of the team and the company are very positive.
“I have a great manager and my colleagues have welcomed me very warmly. Questions are answered quickly, which is very nice.”
Martijn has clear goals for his first year: “I want to continue the innovative trend and accelerate it. I hope to contribute to the success of our team.”
