My charging station is semi-public. How am I reimbursed when my partner/acquaintances charge at my charging station?

1. Rate setting

  • Set rate: At a home charging station, this is the default CREG rate. The rate is charged to the person charging.

2. Payment by the user

  • Users pay for charging through their charge card or app, which is linked to a charge card provider. An additional fee may be charged for the charging session depending on the charging card provider of the person charging.
  • The charging station records the power consumed per session and sends the data to your charging station operator’s platform.

3. Disbursement to you

  • The charging station operator collects the money from the user and disburses the amount to you.
  • The frequency of payout is monthly by default.

4. Costs and settlement

  • Transaction fees: By default, we do not charge any additional transaction fees. The person / acquaintance charging may possibly be charged additional fees by their charge card provider.
  • Energy consumption: The cost of electricity used will be charged to you as the owner through your regular energy supplier.

Example:

  1. The rate set is 0.29 cents.
  2. An acquaintance charges 30 kWh at your charging station.
  3. The charging station operator bills your knowledge €8.7 (30 kWh x €0.29).
  4. Your charging station operator collects this fee and pays you.
