I cannot activate solar charging on my EASEE charge point.

  • To use solar charging, first of all, a digital meter is needed. This will not work with an analog meter. If no digital counter was present when your charging point was installed and you have a digital meter in the meantime, please contact Stroohm to discuss an adjustment.
  • The charge point must be connected to your home network via wifi or ethernet. If your charge point is connected via 4g this will not work.
  • You may not have the minimum required firmware. Update your charge point to the latest version. If this fails, contact Stroohm to update your charge point remotely via ticket.
  • At easee, it is not possible to activate solar charging. Easee only allows solar charging on their back office. Not if the charging point is on an external partner platform.
